R-407C refrigerant, also known as R407C, is traded under names such as SUVA 407C, SUVA 9000, and Genetron 407C.

As an HFC-type non-azeotropic environmentally friendly refrigerant (completely free of ozone-depleting CFCs and HCFCs), R-407C is a mainstream, environmentally friendly medium- and high-temperature refrigerant recognized and recommended by the vast majority of countries worldwide. It is widely used for initial installation in new refrigeration equipment and for refilling during maintenance.

It complies with the standards of the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), SNAP, and UL, and meets the A1 safety category (the highest level, harmless to humans) of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE).

R407C GAS

R407C is a Class A1 refrigerant, meaning it is non-flammable and low in toxicity, and is safe for normal use. However, the following points should be noted:

Ventilation Requirements: In the event of a high-concentration leak, R407C may displace oxygen in the air, leading to a risk of asphyxiation. Therefore, ensure good ventilation in the operating environment.

High-Temperature Decomposition: At high temperatures, R407C may decompose into toxic gases (such as fluorides). Therefore, avoid overheating the equipment.

R-407C, a widely used medium- and high-temperature refrigerant, is primarily used in residential air conditioners, small and medium-sized commercial air conditioners (small and medium-sized unitary air conditioners, residential central air conditioners, multi-split systems), portable air conditioners (automotive air conditioners, etc.), dehumidifiers, refrigerated dryers, marine refrigeration equipment, and industrial refrigeration equipment.
